Well that was one New Years Resolution that flopped! But, I am still committed to spending less and playing more so I'm going to give it another go.
We're all a year older, my oldest has started Kindergarten and my youngest will start in September, they are definitely more capable of playing together but that doesn't change my desire to come up with creative ways to engage in my children's play. I feel that engaging through play creates a strong bond and will serve us all well as the kids grow up and feel comfortable turning to me with their concerns and troubles.
I'm even more motivated to Spend Less this year due to some unforeseen medical expenses that have eaten up a significant chunk of money already and it's only the second day of spring.
So here I go again, I plan to post once a week with one part on saving money and one part on engaging through play.
